12/12/10December's meet is hosted by Sam Pennisis and Sharon Ferrett at the Lady Anne B&B (902 14th Street in Arcata). The Inn will be dressed up for the Holidays and I'll bring a sign-up sheet for next year's events

From Hwy 101, take the Bayside cutoff. Make a right on Old Arcata Road. Make a left at the first real road (has it's own left turn lane and sign for Humboldt Bay Christian School). At the fork in the road, take the center unpaved road. You will pass a large house on the left with a chain link fence and then a double wide mobile on the left with a chain link fence. At the end of the 2nd chain link fence, veer right, up a fairly steep gravel road. Larry's is the first house on the left. His phone number is 825-8701 in case you get lost.05/23/10

10/24/09October's meet is Saturday the 24th at Erics's house in Cutten. The address is 2120 Ardagh Court, Eureka. Here's a map of this address. This will be Eric's first meet and I'm certain everyone will enjoy his layout. His large, raised, outdoor loop can accommodate trains that run off constant track power up to 24 volts, straight DC, Battery power, and live steam that use the clean burning butane (so as not to burn the track or stain it). The smallest diameter is 16.5 feet and the largest is 20 feet. All turns have easements.

June's meet is at Geoff and Queenly Spenceley's house on Sunday the 28th. Geoff has a wonderful, wide-curved, double track line for battery and live steam powered trains. The address is 1856 Williams Court in McKinleyville (map of this address).
May's meet is at Kevin Schindler's house on Sunday the 17th. Kevin has been modifying his garden layout and I can't wait to see what changes he's made. The address is 3489 Renner Road in Fortuna (map of this address).
4/19/09April's meet is at Twig and Betty LaBranche's house on Sunday the 19th. Twig and Betty have a wonderful outdoor layout which winds through mature plants. The address is 1412 R St in Eureka (map of this address).
3/15/09March's meet is at John and Sue Hemmann's house in Eureka (Humboldt Hill) on Sunday, March 15th. John has a nice, growing, outdoor layout and a computer-controlled indoor layout. Directions are (map of this address) :
take the Humboldt Hill exit from 101 go up the hill to Bret Hart -- turn right go up the hill to Burns -- turn right go down the hill to London -- turn right road dead ends -- turn left first house on left

3/7/09A wake for Bill Wilson is being held Saturday, March 7th at 1:00 pm at Bill Laferriere's home in Fortuna (109 Franklin Ave.). There will be examples of pictures of Bill's amazing modelling skills. This is a potluck and BYOB.
